Minister: Norman J Nuton Jr.
Norman J. Nuton Jr. was born October 1st 1981. Norman is a native of Cambridge, MD and a graduate of Cambridge South Dorchester High School. Norman holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Chesapeake College. Norman is a graduate of Amridge University (formerly Southern Christian University) where he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible/Ministry Summa Cum Laude. He has made plans to continue to pursue his post-graduate studies and devote himself to life-long learning.
Norman has been superbly blessed and has been very fortunate to be discipled, mentored and trained to preach by two great gospel preachers, Brother Garrick (Ricky) Cook, Minister of the Laurel Church of Christ, in Laurel, MD, and Brother Douglas Goodman, Minister of the Capital Church of Christ in Annapolis, Maryland. Norman served at the Cambridge Church of Christ as the Assistant/Youth Minister for several years. At the Capital Church of Christ he assisted with the Youth Ministry, teaching the High School teens and preaching the Gospel. Norman served as the Minister of the Church of Christ in Easton Maryland for six years. Norman is currently the newly appointed Ministering Evangelist at the New Haven Church of Christ in New Haven, CT.
In his secular and professional career, Norman achieved recognition working as a paralegal for a prominent law firm in Baltimore City. He has worked in the Insurance industry for the past 15 years in various positions. He worked as a National Sales Executive for an Insurance Brokerage in Cambridge, MD for 8 years. He also works in conjunction with the Dorchester County Public Schools, speaking at different schools and community events throughout the county.
Norman is happily married to the former Myra Queen and together they have two wonderful daughters (Mya (13 years old) & Mariah (12 years old) and two sons/nephew (Norman III, a.k.a, NJ 7 years old Sam Queen 15).
Norman attributes his success to God, his wife, his mother and grandmother and many other men and women who serve on his board of mentors. Norman lives his life by the scripture I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me Philippians 4:13.
